The School Organ arrives - 1965

Bill Todd,  Head of Music,  wrote a report each year on the School's musical activities for the magazine.   The event of the year for 1965 was the arrival of a new organ,  funded in part by the Parent-Teachers Association.

It was an electric organ, of course.    This suggests the delightful image of WVT rising slowly from the stage,  caught in a blaze of spotlights and playing the Dam Busters march complete with artillery effects.   Sadly, that was not to be.
