This is the introductory article in the very first School Magazine. It's unsigned, but my guess is that it was written by the head of English - Isaac (Ike) Stamper. You can feel the enthusiasm shared by all the first staff members as they began a new project, full of promise and hope for the future. That's most unusual for any school: staff and pupils sharing the same feelings and facing the same unknowns.
