School Music (1968) This report on the 1967 School Music year by Bill Todd includes an account of what sounds like a hilarious attempt by the orchestra, assisted by some old scholars, to perform Saint-Saens' Carnival of Animals. The old scholars included Marcia Hurley, who is Bill Todd's daughter, and who has a piece on her father elsewhere in the 'School' section of the site. Some of the other alumni will be well-known to members of the early School. Unaccountably, they did not include me. I wasn't invited, chiz chiz. |
