Lazy afternoon

In this issue we're looking forward to a lazy afternoon in Summer.   Or more probably not so lazy,   because we're planning a cruise on the River Trent,   in the company of our school friends.   You're all invited,  so why not join us?   You can read all about it inside ...

Carlton Le Willows, in Gedling, Nottinghamshire, was the first Grammar School built in the county since WW2. It enrolled its first pupils in 1953, but its status changed in the early seventies when it became a Comprehensive. Our Society is for ex-pupils and staff of the school in its Grammar School period. This site, funded by the Society, is for anyone who's interested and is intended to preserve memories of the School, foster links between those who studied and worked there, to encourage new membership and to provide a service for existing members.
