The Archivist ...

... has been working tirelessly to discover as many names and class membership details as he can of our past pupils,   and now you can see them listed in our 'Register' - by class year or by name.   We know that as we get older memories fade a little,   so now you can remind yourself who was in your year,   or what Whatsisname's full name was.   So come into our site and browse around.

Carlton Le Willows, in Gedling, Nottinghamshire, was the first Grammar School built in the county since WW2. It enrolled its first pupils in 1953, but its status changed in the early seventies when it became a Comprehensive. Our Society is for ex-pupils and staff of the school in its Grammar School period. This site, funded by the Society, is for anyone who's interested and is intended to preserve memories of the School, foster links between those who studied and worked there, to encourage new membership and to provide a service for existing members.
